Quito to Northern Ecuador
The adventure begins in Quito, riding north through the Ecuadorian Andes toward the province of Imbabura.
Along the way, enjoy spectacular mountain scenery and discover a region famous for its indigenous culture, traditional food and the renowned Otavalo market, one of the most important artisan markets in the Andes.
Crossing into Colombia
From Imbabura, we continue north toward the Ecuador–Colombia border.
After completing border formalities, the route enters Colombia through the department of Nariño, where dramatic mountain roads, cool temperatures and impressive Andean landscapes create an unforgettable riding experience.
Pasto, Colombia
Known as Colombia’s “Surprise City,” Pasto combines Andean culture, beautiful colonial architecture and a strong tradition of local craftsmanship.
The city is famous for its churches, the Carnaval de Negros y Blancos and handmade products created from wood, leather, wool, fique fibers and stone.
Southern Colombia
From Pasto, the journey continues north toward Popayán and Palmira, near Cali.
Depending on the itinerary, riders may spend additional time exploring Cali, internationally known as the Salsa Capital of the World, while enjoying the food, music and culture of western Colombia.
The Colombian Eje Cafetero
As we move into central Colombia, the scenery transforms into lush green mountains, coffee plantations and winding roads.
This region is part of Colombia’s famous Eje Cafetero, internationally recognized for producing some of the world’s finest coffee.
Manizales, Caldas
Our final destination is Manizales, capital of the department of Caldas and one of the most important cities in Colombia’s Coffee Region.
Here we will visit a traditional coffee plantation and a rum distillery to learn firsthand how two of Colombia’s most iconic products are made.
Authentic Colombia Motorcycle Adventure
In Manizales, the experience goes beyond simply staying in a hotel. Riders stay in a traditional coffee-producing finca more than 100 years old, offering a much more authentic connection with Colombian culture.
Alternative itineraries are also available with the option to finish the tour in Bogotá or Cali, including additional stops and more opportunities to experience local culture.
